HBB Community,
We wanted to send a reminder about our COVID safety protocols. They
are posted on the website. In addition, we want to remind everyone that
COVID is in our community and as a league we must adhere to guidelines
to keep the league running smoothly this season. Furthermore, your
flexibility and patience in working with us through this is greatly
appreciated.
Our former president and current board member Larry Dick has
volunteered to be our league's COVID point person. If you have any
questions or need to report a positive test please reach out to him at
[email protected]. All discussions will remain confidential. Please report positive tests as soon as possible.
Some important reminders:
*If
you or your player is required to quarantine due to an exposure at
school or elsewhere that applies to baseball activities as well. The
return to baseball activities should follow the CDC guidelines.
*If
we identify you or your player as a close contact we will inform you of
the details and when you can return to baseball activities.
*If
you or your player is not feeling well or is pending a COVID test due
to a symptom, please refrain from baseball activities until the test
results are confirmed negative.
*If your player is on a team with a positive case we will notify you even if the league deems this not to be a close contact.
*Please maintain social distancing and masking at the fields especially while in using the snack stand and restrooms.
*Any questions related to COVID or help determining eligibility based on an exposure please reach out to
[email protected]
Finally, we have persevered through a lot this past year. We are
hopeful this is nearing the final season we need to have these protocols
in place. We want to make this a successful and most of all a HEALTHY
season so your adherence to these rules is critical.
Thanks,
HBB Board
