Travel Team Try-outs & B Coaches Needed

There will be tryouts this weekend for the 8u travel tournament team. The tryouts will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 on the Bambino field. Monday May 2nd at 6PM will be the rain date if any weekend tryouts are cancelled.

To be eligible to play you must attend one tryout session.

General information about the travel team:
All travel is local (furthest tournament will be in Bensalem)
There will be two practices a week
We are scheduled to play in 5 tournaments (email me if you need the schedule)

Tournament season will be over at the end of July

B Level Managers wanted for 12U / 11U/ 10U and 9U

if interested in coaching a Travel B Team, please send an email or letter of intent to the President ASAP with qualifications and which age level.

Due Date for Letters of Intent for 12 / 11/ 10 u teams will be 4/23

Travel Baseball Try-outs

Harleysville Baseball offers travel tournament teams for kids 8-12 years old that are looking for more competitive play, in addition to their intramural experience.

These teams are selected by a try-out process and are coached to emphasize advanced skill development and competitive play, while attending competitive tournaments, as chosen by the travel team coach.

Each team also hosts a home Stars & Stripes tournament. Player families are required to assist with field maintenance and running the snack stand for these tournaments.

The league’s goal is to form 2 teams per age group, an A team and B team. B teams may play in fewer tournaments, with more balanced playing time, however, this will vary depending on the individual coach at each age group.

Open workouts are offered to give the players an opportunity to come up to speed after the off season. It is recommended that players attend as many sessions as possible.

Players must attend at least one try-out session to be selected.
